Marine sports are the most popular activity in Bali! A new package to enjoy 5 marine activities: diving, jetski, banana boat, parasailing and visiting Turtle Island by jetski in one day is available from an old-established marine sports company in Nusa Dua, Bali Coral. I was so excited to try them all!
In Bali, it is normal to be late that we usually call "Bali Time", so i was expecting them to be late for picking up time, but they came on time! Excellent! The car was clean and air-conditioning! It took about 15 minutes from Jimbaran to Bali Coral in Nusa Dua without any trafic jam.
		We checked in and pay the fee at the old open-air building. They get customers from all over the world, so the staffs can speak not only Indonesian, but also English and Asian languages.
The restroom was renovated 2 years ago, so still new and clean. The toilets are Western style and have papers. There are washstand with soap as well.
	There are 4 changing rooms which were dark and some doors and keys were broken, but I had no problem just to change to swimwears. It might be better to put swimwears at your stay.
		After changing, I put my bags into the locker which also had some broken parts. The staff at the reception keeps the key safe!
The world at the depth of 3 - 5m! Diving
The first activity was diving! We changed to the wetsuits and tried on fins and goggles at first. The smaller or just size is better for the fins not to slip off under the water!
	Take the lecture seriously! The instructors gave us a lecture about a way to remove water from the goggles, clearing ears and breathing in the water. They also taught us signs in the water here which are really important since we cannot talk under the water. I went over the signs over and over with the instructor.
We put some weights around the waist and brought the fins and the googles to a boat called "Jemeluk" that people in Bali use for fishing.
	It took only 5 minutes to get to the point. After putting the fins and the googles, we finally went into the ocean. Jemelukdoesn't have ladders, so be careful to get back on the boat.
		In the water, the instructor helped me to put on the vest with the oxygen bomb. If you bring a waterproofed camera, they will take photos of you under the water. (Bali Coral has no photo service by their camera.) Please, note that they are not responsible for any troubles with the camera.
Let's go to th world at the depth 3 - 5m!!! The instructor took my hand to lead me to the bottom of the sea. I moved the the fins slowly to get to the point that a lot of fishes were waiting! Even though I heard Nusa Dua ocean is not clear than another diving point, Serangan, but it was clear enough!
		The variety of the colorful fishes were there! You might be little bit disappointed, if you expect to see a shoal of the fishes. However, you can still enjoy looking at the fishes swimming gracefuly. It was funny to see the instructor was kissing with the fishes!
Hold the breath when they take photos,when they take photos of you under the water, because the bubble comes out when you take a breath.We went to few points in the 20 minutes diving. The time flied! I wanted to spend more time to enjoy taking a walk under the water!!!
		After the diving, you can take a water shower, but note that they don't have shampoo and body soap there. My body was cold after the diving, so it made it worse to take the shower! Towel rental is not available, so don't forget to bring your towel!!
Cannot miss the exhilarating feeling! Jetski
I went to Turtle Island by jetski which is my best recommendation among the marine sports. (※This is a special case for the inspection! Wearing alife jacke is always required.)
	It was easy to drive! It moved by holding the lever on the right handle. If you are not confident enough to drive, the instructor will do it for you!	It was so exciting and thrilling!!! My instructor drove circle around on the water. I couldn't help myself not screaming!
Small adventure! Turtle Island
Only boat and jetski can access to the island since there are mangroves near there. In this island, you can see the stages of the sea turtle grouth. They raise them from eggs and send them back to the ocean after they become big enough.
	The 1.5 to 10 months old sea turtles are separated in the water tanks by age. The baby ones were so cute! It made me so excited to hold the 3 months old sea turtle which was my first time experience!
		We could feed 10 to 25 years old sea turtles. They must be hungry! They jumped to get the seaweeds and algas when I fed. They blew water from their noses in front of them!
★There are other animals in the island!
●Iguana They were colorful! Their rough and elastic skins are something you have never felt.	●Sea Eagle The sea eagle with dignity has pointed eyes and beautiful white body! He stay quiet when the guide put him on the shoulder	●Python  I wasn't scared to put them around my neck, because I have done it before. Their mouths are closed by tape, so there is no worry to be bitten!
●Bat Bat opens the wings by holding the legs and swing up and down. It is a rare experience, so don't miss to try it!	●Pelican They were much smaller than I expected. Their performance to catch pieces of the fruits in the air the guide threw was surprising!	There is a huge resting place and shops for drinks and souvenirs such as t-shirts and handicrafts.
If you have 30 minutes, it is possible to go around in the such a small island, but has many new experiences you have! It was fun to spend time in the isand, but going there by jetski on the way to and from the island is the real pleasure of the tour!
Standard marine sports! Banana Boat
It is a simple activity to be pulled by speed boat, but has enough speed and thrills		You might be thrown off from the boat! In fact, some customers were floating in the water.
	It will be more exciting to do this with a group and family!
Enjoy flying in the sky! parasailing
This is a opportunity to fly in the sky. I have done it before, but it was with an instructor. The wind was little bit stronger, so flying with 2 people was not accepted, so even though I was anxious, I tried it by myself.		We put on the life jacketthe, safty equipments and two colors of the gloves (blue-right / red-left). They guid us from the beach by the color of the golves to land. When they said "red", we pulling down the left side of the rope and "blue" is for right side of the rope.
	After the short leacture, the motorboat pull the parachute which was connected to my equipment and I flied up to the sky at an altitude of 30m very quickly! I could see resort hotels, the ocean and the beach which made me feel like a bird.
The instructor said "pull the blue!" by megaphone from the beach. Even though I pulled it harder, they said "more harder!!" so I used all my weight to do it.		Four staffs helped me to land on the beach. Only the landing required the strength.
Choose one from the 3 kinds! Your choice of lunch
Lunch was at the open-terrace I could see the beautiful ocean view. You can choose one dish (Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng or Club Sandwitch) and one drink (a bottle of water, Coke, Fanta and Sprite).
		I had nasi goreng with fried egg and sate kambin (grilled goat on a stick). The rice was fried well, so was delicious and had a perfect amount!
End the package with taking a shower
	We took a shower in the end to wash off the sea water. It made me refreshed, but the water was cold!!! We did it all! Thank you very much for the great time!
If you want to spend time in Bali doing some fun activities, this 5in1 is for you! It is very reasonable and enjoyable! Even though I was not happy about their old facilities and none towel rental service, all the activities were excellent especially Turtle Island by jetski which was more exciting than I expected. I really enjoyed learning about sea turtles and it was so much fun to feed them! This will be great for not only family with children, but also anyone who wasnt to spend time being like kids. "Surfing" was the only activity I could think of in Bali, but there are other marine activities!!! I went to try a package to do 5 marine sports in a day which would be perfect for active people like me!
Meeting at 7:00am at HIRO-Chan office in Jimbaran! I heard Bali Coral usually late for picking up, but the friendly managers who greeted me saying "Selamat Pagi!!" were already at the office when I got there!		Even though they provide marine sports, they don't have free towel rental service, so we made sure we all brought it for each before leaving!
	Probably, traffic toward Nusa Dua is less compared to toward Kuta. It took about 15 minutes by car from Jimbaran to Bali Coral in Nusa Dua. My first impresion on the building was an old beach house. We checked in and listened to their description with the photos of each activity.
The changing room was not so dirty but not so clean. I didn't want to stay there long to change, so finished it as quick as possible! We could leave all the bags in the lockers, but some of them were broken. They have a staff who keep the keys for the lockers safe, so I left all my belongings including my wallet and cellphone in there.
	Getting ready for diving! Don't forget to put sunblock! Even though you wear wetsuits for diving, your face and hands which are not covered by them get tanned! Look at me! I am tanned like a zebra, because I always surf with t-shitrs on.
Diving for the first time in the ocean!
I have a PADI open diver licence, but since I got it in a P.E. class at University surrounded by the mountains 5 years ago, I only dived in a pool and a lake. Therefore, it was my first time to dive in the ocean!
		Even though I was looking forward to it, I was anxious at the same time. What should I do if I get panicked under the water? The instructor gave us a simple lecture about the equipments and signs (ok, problem, no problem, going up/down, and taking a photo/movie). Also, we practiced clearing ears (picking a nose over the goggles with fingers and breathing out from a nose) and removing water from inside of the goggle (holding the middle of the forehead over the goggles and opening up the bottom part). It was very simple and we practiced them with the instructor over and over, so I was not anxious any more after the lecture!
	The boat we took to get to the point made me think a BALI style! After I put the goggle and the fins on the boat, the instructor put the vest with the oxgen tank on me in the water.
Under the water, the instructor guided me by holding the hands and took photos and video. It was really fun to be at the bottom of the ocean. I used the OK sign only once. It was not necessary for me to clear my ears and remove water from inside of the goggle.		The instructer gave me some banana to feed the fishes which came around me soon after I hold it in front. The fishes were not the only ones eating banana under the water, but also the instructor LOL! When my eyes met the ones of the fishes, I had a feeling I have never had.
	The time flied under the water! Again, the instructor helped me to take off the vest on the surface of the water. It is easier to get back on the boat without the fins, so take them off in the water!
We took a shower at the beach. There were no shampoo and body soap there , so it was just washing off the sea water. The water pressure was strong, so it made me feel refreshed! BUT! My body got cold while I was waiting for the next activity. I wish they had free towel service.
Going on crazy by jetski!
I love thrilling activities, so couldn't help myself not being excited when the time for jetski came! "Yeah! Jetski!" The instructors who look little bit scarely were already waiting for us to go on some adventure.		My instructor, Nana could speak Japanese, so we soon started talking to each oterh like friends.
	He drove faster and faster to make me scream. It was so much fun! After a while, he askedn me whether I wanted to drive, so I tried!
		Speeding up is like breaking on a bicycle. If you pull the bar on the handle, it accelerates. Even though I thought I did little bit too much, Nana didn't stop me. The jetski hit the wave and jumped on the water! It would be fun to go around Bali by jetski.
Love or hate!? Turtle Island
Visiting Turtle Island was also a part of the activity. They have one month to 25 years old sea turtles in the island.
	There were other animals such as iguanas and pythons as well. The other visitors seemed excited to touch the animals, but they were just scarely to me. I was afraid of birds, so goose pimples came out on my arms when I stepped into the cage.
I wanted to run away when they put snakes around my neck. On the other hand, Jun-Chan in the photo was smiling wiht the snakes. She was like a sexy dancer I have seen on TV.		I would prefer driving the jetski longer instead of spending time in this island.
The popular marine activity, banana boat!
		Banana boat is a standard marine activity. I was expecting it would be another thrilling activity like jetski. We went much farther than I expected.
It was fun at the beginning, because it went faster, so I was like "Wow". However, it became less exciting later on. I was expecting to be fell off the boat, but it didn't happen. I got board little bit at the end, so was watching the waves breaking which made me think about my love, surfing. "Probably, it is possible to surf here when the strong swell comes."
Fly to the sky by parasailing!
Parasailing gets effected by wind easily. They told us that they had to cancel it due to the wind direction. We were thinking which optional activity we should do, Donut Tube or Fly Fish, but the condition changed, so we got ready for parasailing!		"Stretch the arms in the sky." "Pull the rope to land." The lecture was very simple. We put a blue glove on a right hand and a red glove on a left hand. Also, a life jacket and an equipment to connect with a parachute are required to wear. I was nervous while waiting for my turn.
	The landing was something I was worried about most, so I was looking at Yu-Chan's landing. He was having a difficult time to get back to the beach because of the strong wind. After 3 to 4 tries, he could finally land. It seemed really difficult!
My turn came soon. I had to run to under the parachute and switched with Yu-Chan while it was still open. The staffs put it to the equipment around my waist. I probably took only 2 to 3 steps to fly up to the sky.
		The weather was nice, so the sky adventure became more memorable! I thought it would be a thrilling activity, but was relaxing. "Is that Uluwatu?" "Seminyak is probably this way." I was asking myself in the sky.
Time to land came! I could hear the instructor from the beach. "Pull the blue side!" I used not only the arms but also all the body to pull the rope harder. Then, I was back to the beach. I could land with only one try without any injury.
Luncg at restaurant in Bali Coral!
The activities were not tireing, but the sushine took my energy, so I was tired and hungry after all the activities. YES! Finally lunch time came!		I could choose one from 3 dishes: Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng and Club Sandwiches. I am a rice lover, but tried Mie Goren this time.
	The taste was.... not so bad, but I wasn't happy about the noodle which was dry when it served. It didn't fill me up and reminded me of school lunch at elementary school.
After all the activities finished, we went back to take a water shower and change into the clothes at the changing room. Probably, many customers used the room, so the floors were duty with mud. I got changed carefully not to drop my towel and clothes.
Check another activity point.
We drove to see another point to do the activity at low tide. The bottom of the ocean in front of Bali Coral has coral and rocks, so at low tide, we have to come to this point to do the activity which is about 10 minutes by car from Bali Coral.
		It was much narrower than I thought and locals were hanging out there. I personally prefer the beach in front of Bali Coral which is larger and has more good atmosphere.
After checking the point, we went back to the office with the managers who were guiding us all day with their hospitality. I had a great time to do the 5 marine activities under the perfect weather! Thank you for the great day!
It is a great package which has 5 marine activities in a day, but I do not like birds and reptiles, so if it doesn't include Turtle Island Tour, I would say this package's total score is 85! If you love turtles and want to play with some animals, the island will be fun. The other activities were fun, but I wish banana boat was more thrilling! It was a great opportunity to drive the jetski which was super exciting and my favorite! The diving was good enough for just an experience. The photo the instructor took with my camera are my memorabilia. The private time and space in the sky was awsome! I will never forget the view I saw during the parasailing. In total, I had a wonderful time at the beach which is my favorite place in Bali.
It will be a long day! Get enoughsleep the day before! The strong sunshine takes your energy! Stay at the shade or under the roof as possible as you could! Challenge to drive a jetski! It will be a rare experience! If you don't want to get tanned like a zebra, put sunblock! Enjoy the greatest view from the sky during parasailing!

Common Questions

Time	What time does the marine sports finish and go bakk to hotel? It depends on a condition of the ocean, but the marine sports themselves take about 2 hours and a half to 3 hours, so it will be about 3 hours and a half including lunch time in total. For example, if the package starts around 9:00am, you will be back at hotel in early after noon. You can still go sightseeing or to a spa after the activities!
Location	What it the difference between Tanjung Benoa and Serangan? ≪Location≫ Tanjung Benoa, the most popular marine sports area is located next to Nusa Dua area, and has many marine sports agencies which offer various types of the marine activities. Serangan Island is a small island on the side of Sanur area which is connected with a road from Bali Island. Tanjung Benoa is recommended people who are staying in Nusa Dua or Jimbaran areas and want to enjoy the activity lively! ≪Starting Time≫ Tanjung Benoa gets effect by the rise and fall of the tide, so depending on days and time, some activities would not be available or the amount of the time for the activity would be limited. One the other hand, Serangan usually does not get any effect because of the geographical feature.
Tide	Can you explain effects of the tide? The bottom of the ocean in Tanjung Benoa has coral and rocks, so those became naked at low tide. In that case, the activities will be held at another point which is about 10 minutes by car from Bali Coral. Which activities cannot be held at low tide? Parasailing, Banana Boat and Jetski in this package.
Parasailing	When parasailing will be canceled? There are few conditions that parasailing being canceled including low tide, offshore (wind direction from the shore to the offshore), heavy rain and any other cases Bali Coral make a judgement for impossibility to do the activities. Please, note that it will be changed to Fly Fish or Donuts Tube in those cases.
Swimwear	Do they sell swimwear? They have swimming pants, but female swimwears are not available.
