The bottom of the Bali ocean in Bali is fantastic! Diving is the great way to experience it. I could see many fishes in Sanur, so diving has become my favorite. This time, it was in a famous marine sports spot, Tanjung Benoa which is not too far from off the coast of Sanur. I was looking forward to seeing different kinds of the corals and fishes there!
After checking in and paying the fee, we changed to swimwear and leave the bags in the locker. Then, it was a time to get ready for diving!
We moved to the place for the diving lecture and put the wetsuits and tried on fins and goggles at first. The smaller or just size is better for the fins not to slip off under the water!
	Take the lecture seriously! The instructors gave us a lecture about a way to remove water from the goggles, clearing ears and breathing in the water. They also taught us signs in the water here which are really important since we cannot talk under the water. I went over the signs over and over with the instructor.
We put some weights around the waist and brought the fins and the googles to a boat called "Jemeluk" that people in Bali use for fishing.
	It took only 5 minutes to get to the point. After putting the fins and the googles, we finally went into the ocean. Jemelukdoesn't have ladders, so be careful to get back on the boat.
		In the water, the instructor helped me to put on the vest with the oxygen bomb. If you bring a waterproofed camera, they will take photos of you under the water. (Bali Coral has no photo service by their camera.) Please, note that they are not responsible for any troubles with the camera.
Let's go to th world at the depth 3 - 5m!!! The instructor took my hand to lead me to the bottom of the sea. I moved the the fins slowly to get to the point that a lot of fishes were waiting! Even though I heard Nusa Dua ocean is not clear than another diving point, Serangan, but it was clear enough!
		The variety of the colorful fishes were there! You might be little bit disappointed, if you expect to see a shoal of the fishes. However, you can still enjoy looking at the fishes swimming gracefuly. It was funny to see the instructor was kissing with the fishes!
Hold the breath when they take photos, when they take photos of you under the water, because the bubble comes out when you take a breath.We went to few points in the 20 minutes diving. The time flied! I wanted to spend more time to enjoy taking a walk under the water!!!
		After the diving, you can take a water shower, but note that they don't have shampoo and body soap there. My body was cold after the diving, so it made it worse to take the shower! Towel rental is not available, so don't forget to bring your towel!!
The ocean in Tanjung Beanoa has many different kinds of the fishes and made me think "What Tropica!" The clarity of the water was not so bad, but comparing with off the coast of Sanur, it was little bit disappointing. Even though I couldn't see the groups of the fishes that I could see in Sanur, The coloful fishes and corals were beautiful. Bali Coral has other interests such as friendly instructors and taking a local fishing boat called "Jemeluk" to get to the point, so I am sure that you can have a great time as I did!
Be aware that you need more energy to move under the water! Listen to the safty instruction by the instructor carefully! Hold the breath when the instructor takes photos of you! Tie long hair! You don't want your hair block your sight in the water. Bring cosmetics if necessary. Your make-up will be gone after diving.

I tried diving in a pool and a lake for P.E. class of the University 5 years ago, but never done it in the ocean! It made me nervous and little scared, because I forgot all the knowledge of the equipment and skills, but did my best to have a great time with the fishes in Bali!
I have a PADI open diver licence, but since I got it in a P.E. class at University surrounded by the mountains 5 years ago, I only dived in a pool and a lake. Therefore, it was my first time to dive in the ocean!
		Even though I was looking forward to it, I was anxious at the same time. What should I do if I get panicked under the water? The instructor gave us a simple lecture about the equipments and signs (ok, problem, no problem, going up/down, and taking a photo/movie). Also, we practiced clearing ears (picking a nose over the goggles with fingers and breathing out from a nose) and removing water from inside of the goggle (holding the middle of the forehead over the goggles and opening up the bottom part). It was very simple and we practiced them with the instructor over and over, so I was not anxious any more after the lecture!
	The boat we took to get to the point made me think a BALI style! After I put the goggle and the fins on the boat, the instructor put the vest with the oxgen tank on me in the water.
Under the water, the instructor guided me by holding the hands and took photos and video. It was really fun to be at the bottom of the ocean. I used the OK sign only once. It was not necessary for me to clear my ears and remove water from inside of the goggle.		The instructer gave me some banana to feed the fishes which came around me soon after I hold it in front. The fishes were not the only ones eating banana under the water, but also the instructor LOL! When my eyes met the ones of the fishes, I had a feeling I have never had.
	The time flied under the water! Again, the instructor helped me to take off the vest on the surface of the water. It is easier to get back on the boat without the fins, so take them off in the water!
We took a shower at the beach. There were no shampoo and body soap there , so it was just washing off the sea water. The water pressure was strong, so it made me feel refreshed! BUT! My body got cold soon. I wish they had free towel service.
		After change of clothes, they drove us back by airconditioned car. It was great to spend some time in my favorrite place, the ocean of Bali.
I was nervous at the beginning, but after the lecture with the instructor to learn the ways to clear ears and remove wayer from the goggle and the signs, I was ready for the adventure! Their guiding skill was great, so I didn't get panicked under the water. There was some point that I had to calm myself down when I realized that I was breathing under the water, because it gave me a strange feeling. This diving experience made me think to learn it again using my PADI Open Diver Licence.
You cannot talk under the water. Take the lecture seriously! Sunshine is stronger than you imagine! Don't forget to put sunblock on the parts not covered by the wetsuits. Choose a smaller or just size for the fins! Be a merman/marmaid at the bottom of the ocean! Don't get your body cold! Bring towels and a change of clothes.

Location	What it the difference between Tanjung Benoa and Serangan? ≪Location≫ Tanjung Benoa, the most popular marine sports area is located next to Nusa Dua area, and has many marine sports agencies which offer various types of the marine activities. Serangan Island is a small island on the side of Sanur area which is connected with a road from Bali Island. Tanjung Benoa is recommended people who are staying in Nusa Dua or Jimbaran areas and want to enjoy the activity lively! ≪Diving Points≫ The point in Tanjung Benoa is next to the Ocean Walker point which is about 10 minutes by boat. On the other hand, the one in Serangan also takes about 10 minutes by boat and is next to the Sea Walker point. Both of them are shallow and for beginners. The water in Serangan is little bit clearer than the one in Tanjung Benoa.
Diving	When is the clearest time for the ocean? It depends on the tide, but normally around 11:00am is the best. Is it possible to do diving and marine sports in a same day? Our Super Reasonable Nusa Dua Marine 5in1 has 5 marine activities including diving.
