In Bali, Avanza, regular size mini-van, is often used for sightseeing tour. We also offer high-class cars such as Alphard and Benz, etc.

There is no railway in Bali, so the shuttle bus is convenient and reasonable transport. Especially, young travelers from abroad like to use Kuta - Sanur - Ubud route.

However, they have limited shcedule, the bus stop is along to only main road, the type of bus is old model and some of them have no AC. It's only for transfer, but not for comfortable sightseeing.

PERAMA's shuttle bus is the most popular. If you want to ride on, you go to bus terminal and book. You need to prior booking for popular bus route.

You can easily find taxi in main sightseeing area. Usually, taxi has a meter and air conditioner. You can see "TAXI" or "TAXSI" on the roof of car.

The starting fare is Rp.5,000. Some of them don't start meter, and ask too expensive fare when arrived at the destination. Therefore, you have to check if a driver uses meter. There are many taxi that negotiate fare, but many trable cases are reported.

The taxi company that has the best repitation in Bali is Bali Taxi (called Blue Bird Taxi), light blue color car.
If you see it on the road, they stop by your sign. From a restaurant, spa or hotel, you can ask staffs call a taxi for you.

You can often see bikes and cars with "RENTAL" sign. Tourist Information desks also offer car rental and bike rental. It's reasonable price and convenient to use, however, we don't recommend to use.

Indonesia is not a member of International Drivers License Associatin, so your international driver license is not valid in Indonesia. You need to have Indonesian Drivers License. Moreover, traffic rules are different, and people tend to drive selfish. Road condition is also bad. You will be in trouble if you drive a car or bike illegally. You should not rental bike or car for your safety.

If you really want to drive in Bali, get a legal driver license and enjoy your trip.

It is convenient shared bus, Bemo, that local pepole use daily. The size of the bus is as same as one-box car or micro bus without AC.

The route is usually same everyday, but there is no bus stop, so you can stop it if you raise your hand. The schedule is really unpunctual. Travelers are often asked to pay expensive fare.

It is difficult to use Bemo unless you can speak Indonesian bevcause a driver cannot understand English. There is no detailed information about schedule and fare, so it is not recommended for travelers.

Around sightseeing and shopping spots in Kuta, Sanur and Ubud, you often see bike transport service (ojek). It is also called bike taxi, and you ride on the back of driver (double riding).
The bikes doesn't have meter, so you need to negotiate fare. Some of them don't provide helmet and drive aggressively. We don't recommend to use it.
